How to learn test automation?
Suppose, you are a manual tester and want to learn automation testing. OR you are just a beginner in automation testing and want to improve your test automation skills. There are a plethora of resources available around us which can make one perplex about what to choose and from where to start?
Sometimes, we do not understand the approach on how we should start.
In this article, I am sharing my own approach to starting learning test automation. The techniques that have helped me in working on test automation. These are my own rules/techniques which I have followed in my career to learn about test automation. So, let us get started and help you in learning test automation…
✌Be strongly determined that you want to learn it.
✌Dedicate 1–2hrs.each day to learn it.
👋 Start from the very basics of any tool. Cuz when basics are strong, you can learn advanced concepts with ease.
👍While you are learning some concept, make notes parallelly. {Whether it’s a programming language or any automation tool, example: selenium}
↪ If you are NOT working, then you can’t complain about timings. Spend 2–4hrs.daily to learn.
✌After you learn, do hands-on on your personal computer without looking into a solution. It’s okay to go slow but…
